I am writing a piece for two pianos and electronics for a project called "Mantra AfterMaths" by the Hamburg-based American pianist Jennifer Hymer and her duo partner Bernhard Fograscher. The programme will comprise Stockhausen's "Mantra" as a common point of reference, to which also commissioned compositions by Alex Schubart, Sascha Lino Lemke, and Hans Tutschku will be linked.
The premieres will be in January in Hamburg with follow-up concerts being planned.
